    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District released its Mississippi River, Baton Rouge to the Gulf of Mexico Mississippi River-Gulf Outlet, Louisiana, New Industrial Canal Lock and Connecting Channels Project Draft Integrated General Reevaluation Report (GRR) and Draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (SEIS) today.

    Weather dependent, beginning Monday, Oct. 24, at 7 a.m. and lasting until Wednesday, Oct. 26, at 6 p.m., final roadway restoration will continue on Jefferson Avenue from Dryades to Constance streets as crews place roadway striping. This work is related to the Southeast Louisiana Urban Flood Control Project (SELA) Jefferson Avenue Phase II.

    The final roadway restoration is continuing on Jefferson Avenue as a part of the Southeast Louisiana Urban Flood Control Project (SELA) Jefferson Avenue Phase II. In the coming days, asphalt placement will begin on Jefferson Avenue from Constance to Dryades streets and is estimated to be complete at the beginning of October, weather dependent.
