    Corps awards contract for removal of Interim Closure Structures

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District awarded a $17 million contract to St. Rose, LA, based small business M.R. Pittman Group, LLC for removal of the Interim Closure Structures (ICS) at three outfall canals along the New Orleans lakefront.

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District recently awarded a contract for work to remediate groundwater seeping onto the roadway at the Hurricane and Storm Damage Risk Reduction System (HSDRRS) floodgate construction joint at the Belle Chasse Tunnel on State Highway 23 in Plaquemines Parish.
