The mission of this office is to provide accurate and timely information to project stakeholders, policy makers, the media, and the general public.

Public Outreach

Our Speakers Bureau can identify Corps personnel with expertise of interest to your organization and assist in arranging a speech or presentation to your group. Public Meetings

We regularly schedule public meetings throughout the district to present information on various project plans and solicit your input. Project Tours 

The New Orleans District provides tours of Corps’ construction sites and points of interest for students, industry leaders, volunteer groups, community associations and neighborhood groups, etc. If you would like to arrange a tour, please use this form. Site Visit

The New Orleans District office is located near the riverbend at 7400 Leake Avenue. School groups, college classes, and other interested groups or individuals are encouraged to visit us to learn more about what we do. Please call (504) 862-2635 or send email to AskTheCorps@usace.army.mil to arrange a visit to our New Orleans offices.  A security check will be required to enter the reservation so visitors 16 years or older are required to have photo identification and all vehicles are subject to search by security.
