• Lane shift to occur on Louisiana Avenue

    Weather dependent, on Friday, January 12th, the north and south bound (lake and river bound) travel lanes on Louisiana Avenue, from S. Liberty Street to Chestnut Street, will be shifted to the north bound (lake bound) side of the roadway. Currently, the lanes are on the south bound (river bound) side of the roadway.

  • Corps Extends Brandon Road Study Public Comment period

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Rock Island District is hosting an additional public meeting for the Great Lakes and Mississippi River Interbasin Study (GLMRIS) Brandon Road Draft Report on Dec. 5 from 1-4 p.m. at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers New Orleans District headquarters office.     The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) announced today that it will waive day use fees for veterans, active and reserve component service members, and their families at the more than 2,800 USACE-operated recreation areas nationwide on Veterans Day, November 11.
