The Construction Division develops and implements District policy for construction management functions, and advises designers and the contracting officers on construction and contract management matters. We are responsible for the overall direction, supervision, administration, coordination and planning activities of the Contract Management Branches A & B, the Quality Assurance Branch, and the Lafayette & New Orleans Area Offices.
Our mission is to efficiently construct and maintain the navigation, flood control, hurricane and storm damage risk reduction, environmental enhancement, and other water resource development projects of the New Orleans District, and to provide construction management services to other government agencies to assist them in accomplishing their missions.
Our goal is to provide quality products and services through state-of-the-art technology, ensuring uncompromised quality to our customers. Our purpose is to manage construction to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction with attention to safety, the environment, quality, timeliness, and budget.
