Lane closure to occur on portion of Jefferson Avenue for roadway work

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District will temporarily close a portion of Jefferson Avenue, tomorrow, September 27, 2016 for roadway repairs. This work is related to the Southeast Louisiana Urban Flood Control Project (SELA).

Final roadway restoration continues on portion of Jefferson Avenue

The final roadway restoration is continuing on Jefferson Avenue as a part of the Southeast Louisiana Urban Flood Control Project (SELA) Jefferson Avenue Phase II. In the coming days, asphalt placement will begin on Jefferson Avenue from Constance to Dryades streets and is estimated to be complete at the beginning of October, weather dependent.

Parking to be limited on portion of Jefferson Avenue for permanent roadway placement

Beginning at 7 a.m. Wednesday, September 7, 2016, street parking on Jefferson Avenue between Constance and Dryades street will be unavailable because of permanent roadway placement work associated with the Southeast Louisiana Urban Flood Control Project Jefferson Ave. Phase II. This work is scheduled to be completed on Monday, September 12, 2016.
