    The United States Army Corps of Engineers holds partner signing ceremony for the Comite River Diversion project

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District, brought stakeholders together to sign a partnership agreement for the Comite River Diversion Project, Brooks Lake Guide Levee Feature, on Friday, April 11 at the LA State Police Joint Training Facility in Baton Rouge, LA. At the ceremony, all parties reconfirmed their commitment in delivering the project for the residents and businesses located in East Baton Rouge, Livingston, and Ascension Parishes.

    Street Closure Announcement: Destrehan Avenue in Harvey will continue to be closed due to construction on Harvey Floodwall

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers began construction on a floodwall in Harvey, La. In December of 2024. Due to the nature of the construction and proximity to the roadway, Destrehan Avenue will remain closed to traffic until June 2025.
