Effective May 25,2020 interested parties are hereby notified that a request for permission to alter a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) project pursuant to Section 14 of the Rivers and Harbors Act of 1899 (33 U.S.C. Effective May 28, 2020 interested parties are hereby notified that a request for permission to alter U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) projects pursuant to Section 14 of the Rivers and Harbors Act of 1899 (33 U.S.C. Section 408) has been received and will be evaluated by the New Orleans District. Written comments, including any objections to the proposed alteration, stating reasons therefor, are being solicited from anyone having an interest in the requested alteration of USACE projects. This Public Notice solicits comments only on the proposed alteration of the eight federal projects and fourteen federal easements described below and depicted on the attached drawings. 15-422, 306 Fleet, LLC, proposes to construct a new barge fleeting area in the Mississippi River along the right descending bank in the vicinity of levee station number 700+00 in Concordia Parish, Louisiana.

306 Fleet, LLC, proposes to construct a new barge fleeting area of the Mississippi River along the right descending bank near River Mile 306 in Concordia Parish, Louisiana.  The proposed fleet would consist of one block tier of barges (5 barges long and 6 barges wide).  The barges would be held in place by one ship anchor at the upstream end of the tier.  All work associated with this application will be performed from barge-mounted equipment.  No work would be performed on land and no land would be impacted.
