Viewing Notices. To view a Public Notice and its associated Drawings file (if any), click on the "Public Notice" or "Public Notice and Drawings" link and any additional links included in the attachments section. How to send comments. Comments can be mailed to the address appearing in the Public Notice or emailed to the Project Manager identified on the Public Notice. Comments made in reference to a Public Notice should include your name, address, and phone number as well as the permit application number identified on the Public Notice. 

Individuals or parties may request an extension of time in which to comment on the proposed work by writing to the project manager or clicking on the project manager’s name on the public notice grid on the web page.  Any request must be specific and substantively supportive of the requested extension, and received by this office prior to the end of the initial comment period.  The Branch Chief will review the request and the requestor will be promptly notified of the decision to grant or deny the request.  If granted, the time extension will be continuous to the initial comment period and, inclusive of the initial comment period, will not exceed a total of 30 calendar days.

LOCATION OF WORK:  (30.4601 N, -92.5302 W =POB), (30.0800 N, -92.0075 = POE) Acadia and Lafayette Parishes, Louisiana. Project traverses through the Mermentau River Basin and the Vermilion River Basin, HUC’s 08080201, 08080202 and 08080103.


CHARACTER OF WORK   Conduct clearing, excavation and spoil placement along with HDD operations to install approximately 45 miles of 12-inch natural gas liquids pipeline (NGL) with 30 feet of permanent right of way, 30 feet of construction right of way within wetland areas and associated, temporary work areas. Approximately 13.45 acres of forested wetlands, 10.1 acres of herbaceous wetlands and 2.38 acres of scrub shrub wetlands will be impacted as a result of project implementation.


           To compensate for unavoidable project related impacts to wetlands, the applicant has proposed to utilize “in kind” mitigation credits from one of the approved mitigation bank sponsors located in the primary and secondary service areas of the project watersheds.
