Lane closure to occur on Louisiana Ave. for work related to SELA
NEW ORLEANS – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District, and its contractors will temporarily close a travel lane on Louisiana Ave. for work related to the Southeast Louisiana Drainage Project (SELA).
On Sunday, August 30, 2015, from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., the southbound travel lane of Louisiana Ave./Toledano St. from S. Claiborne Ave. to LaSalle St. will be closed. The northbound travel lane will remain open. Southbound traffic on Louisiana Ave. will be detoured at S. Claiborne Ave. to Washington Ave. to LaSalle St.
Throughout construction, The Corps will continue to work closely with its partners at the City of New Orleans.
