Expiration date: 6/4/2025

Applicant: Carolyn Lucca Willow Glen Terminal

LOCATION OF WORK: The project would affect waters of the United States and navigable waters of the United States associated with the Mississippi River. The project/review area is located in the Mississippi River, left descending bank mile 201.8; on the SW side of Louisiana Highway 75, 2.4 miles SE of the intersection of La Hwy 75 and Gummers Lane at Latitude 30.271111 and Longitude -91.1208333 degrees; in St Gabriel, Louisiana, in Iberville Parish.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The applicant requests authorization to modify a previously authorized barge dock to a ship dock. To date, no construction has begun on the barge dock. Installation of the ship dock will include cut and remove 4 protection dolphins, as well as the installation and maintenance of pilings, rip rap, and fill to construct an access ramp, pipe rack, loading platform, vehicle approach way, ship dock, and appurtenances for the purpose of increasing ship berth at Willow Glen’s existing facility to handle increased demand in renewable fuels and feedstocks, vegetable oils, and refined petroleum products. All work will take place from either barge mounted equipment in the River or land based equipment in the batture. Land based equipment will utilize a matted construction corridor to minimize impacts to the batture. Upon completion, mats will be removed, and the area beneath the structures will be restored to pre-project contours. Project implementation will result in the conversion of approximately 1 acre of forested batture to maintained batture and the deposition of approximately 2,000 cubic
yards of rip rap over 0.5 acre of revetted bank.
