ALL projects are sorted by issuance date. The public notices and drawings are in PDF formatted files. You must have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your PC to view the files. If you don't have it, you may download it free from www.adobe.com.

Viewing Notices. To view a Public Notice and its associated Drawings file (if any), click on the "Public Notice" or "Public Notice and Drawings" link and any additional links included in the attachments section. How to send comments. Comments can be mailed to the address appearing in the Public Notice or emailed to the Project Manager identified on the Public Notice. Comments made in reference to a Public Notice should include your name, address, and phone number as well as the permit application number identified on the Public Notice. 

Individuals or parties may request an extension of time in which to comment on the proposed work by writing to the project manager or clicking on the project manager’s name on the public notice grid on the web page.  Any request must be specific and substantively supportive of the requested extension, and received by this office prior to the end of the initial comment period.  The Branch Chief will review the request and the requestor will be promptly notified of the decision to grant or deny the request.  If granted, the time extension will be continuous to the initial comment period and, inclusive of the initial comment period, will not exceed a total of 30 calendar days.

WATERWAY AND LOCATION: The project would affect waters of the United States associated with the Spanish Lake Basin, including Alligator Bayou, Bayou Braud, Bayou Paul, and multiple un-named waterways. The project/review area is located on south of Bayou Manchac, east Louisiana Highway 30, north of Louisiana Highway 74, approximately 3 miles NE of the intersection of Louisiana Highways 30 and 74 in Sections 35 and 36 of Township 08 South, Range 01 East; Sections 1, 2, and 12 of Township 09 South, Range 01 East; Sections 31 and 32, Township 08 South, Range 02 Ease; and Sections 5, 6, and 7, Township 09S, Range 02E; at Latitude 30.294717, and Longitude -91.060386; near St. Gabriel, Iberville Parish, Louisiana.

PROPOSED WORK: On Tract A, the applicant requests authorization to restore the pre-development conditions by filling agricultural drains, degrading and/or gapping roads and levees, restoring natural elevations and hydrology, and planting the appropriate wetland bottomland hardwood species. On Tract B and C, the applicant requests authorization to lower 20 spoil bank gaps along Bayou Paul and Bayou Braud, gap oil field access roads at 18 separate locations, fill borrow ditches, install culvers, and plant the appropriate bottomland hardwood and cypress/tupelo swamp species.
