ALL projects are sorted by issuance date. The public notices and drawings are in PDF formatted files. You must have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your PC to view the files. If you don't have it, you may download it free from www.adobe.com.

Viewing Notices. To view a Public Notice and its associated Drawings file (if any), click on the "Public Notice" or "Public Notice and Drawings" link and any additional links included in the attachments section. How to send comments. Comments can be mailed to the address appearing in the Public Notice or emailed to the Project Manager identified on the Public Notice. Comments made in reference to a Public Notice should include your name, address, and phone number as well as the permit application number identified on the Public Notice. 

Individuals or parties may request an extension of time in which to comment on the proposed work by writing to the project manager or clicking on the project manager’s name on the public notice grid on the web page.  Any request must be specific and substantively supportive of the requested extension, and received by this office prior to the end of the initial comment period.  The Branch Chief will review the request and the requestor will be promptly notified of the decision to grant or deny the request.  If granted, the time extension will be continuous to the initial comment period and, inclusive of the initial comment period, will not exceed a total of 30 calendar days.

NAME OF APPLICANT: Six G’s, LLC, c/o: Chenier Environmental Consulting, LLC. attn.: Mr. Aaron Bass, P.O. Box 82466, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70884.

LOCATION OF WORK: At the intersection of O’Neal Lane and Old Hammond Highway (30.461349, -91.006641) in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in East Baton Rouge Parish, as shown within the attached drawings. (Hydrologic Unit Code 08070202, LPB Amite Watershed).

CHARACTER OF WORK: The applicant has requested Department of Army authorization to clear, excavate, grade, and fill for the construction of a single-family residential subdivision (O’Neal Ridge) with appurtenant infrastructure, natural drainage re-route, detention ponds, a sewage pump station, and green space. Approximately 14.2 acres of jurisdictional forested wetlands will be permanently impacted and approximately 3 acres of jurisdictional forested wetlands will have secondary impacts from disconnection of hydrology. Approximately 650 linear feet of Non-Wetland Waters of the U.S. (NWW) will also be permanently impacted. The northern detention pond will capture input from the NWW off-site which will output through the detention pond into the natural drainage on the west side of the project post construction. Approximately 40,000 cubic yards of native silt fill, fill from offsite, and aggregate material will be deposited to complete the project.
