ALL projects are sorted by issuance date. The public notices and drawings are in PDF formatted files. You must have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your PC to view the files. If you don't have it, you may download it free from www.adobe.com.

To view a Public Notice and its associated Drawings file (if any), click on the "Public Notice" or "Public Notice and Drawings" link and any additional links included in the attachments section. How to send comments. Comments can be mailed to the address appearing in the Public Notice or emailed to the Project Manager identified on the Public Notice. Comments made in reference to a Public Notice should include your name, address, and phone number as well as the permit application number identified on the Public Notice. 

Individuals or parties may request an extension of time in which to comment on the proposed work by writing to the project manager or clicking on the project manager’s name on the public notice grid on the web page.  Any request must be specific and substantively supportive of the requested extension, and received by this office prior to the end of the initial comment period.  The Branch Chief will review the request and the requestor will be promptly notified of the decision to grant or deny the request.  If granted, the time extension will be continuous to the initial comment period and, inclusive of the initial comment period, will not exceed a total of 30 calendar days.

NAME OF APPLICANT:  LLOX, LLC, co: RCCS, LLCPO Box 2182, Covington, LA 70434-2182.

LOCATION:  Latitude 29.841111, Longitude -91.715556, approximately 3 miles NNW of Glencoe, Louisiana, in Saint Mary and Iberia Parishes.

DESCRIPTION:   The applicant proposes prop-wheel washing in portions of existing bayous and canals and dredging to cut out a portion of the spoil bank for a proposed drilling well slip. Vegetation will be cut back and if trees and woody debris are required to be removed, then it will be disposed of in an approved manner and transported offsite by barges. The remaining dredged material will be placed on the spoil bank around the proposed slip. Approximately 32,204 cubic yards of material would be displaced by prop-wheel washing in existing waterways and 8103 cubic yards of bankline will be impacted by dredging to cut out the slip. The 8103 cubic yards of dredged material will be stacked on the bankline to an elevation of +5'. The draft of the vessels and drill barge will be 7.5'.  Approximately 10.7 acres of waterbottoms and 1.7 acres of marsh habitat would be impacted by this proposal.  The applicant proposes to acquire in-kind credits from an approved mitigation bank or pay into the State Coastal Restoration Fund to offset any permanent unavoidable losses to wetland functions caused by project implementation, should a DA permit be issued.
