Expiration date: 2/11/2018

NAME OF APPLICANT:  Mike Wilson (Hope Church), c/o Foret Environmental Services, Inc., Attn: Glenn Foret, 9040 Briarwood Place, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70809

LOCATION OF WORK:  On Old Jefferson Hwy between Rivault Ln. and Liz Rd.,  approximately 0.5 mile south of Airline Hwy., Section 2, T9S-R2E, in Prairieville, Louisiana, in Ascension Parish, within the Lake Pontchartrain Basin in hydrologic unit (HUC 08070204), as shown on the attached drawings.

CHARACTER OF WORK:  The applicant has requested Department of the Army authorization to excavate, grade, and fill for the construction and maintenance of The Hope Church with a drive way, parking lot, and storm water detention pond.  The applicant will excavate approximately 4,825 cubic yards of native material for the detention pond which will be hauled off site to a non-wetland disposal area.  Approximately 305 cubic yards of concrete and fill dirt will be hauled in and placed onsite to complete the project.  Approximately 2.9 acres of herbaceous emergent wetlands will be permanently impacted by this project.

A Preliminary analysis has determined that the proposed project would directly impact approximately 2.9 acres of herbaceous emergent wetlands.

The applicant stated that they have designed the project to avoid and minimize direct and secondary adverse impacts to the maximum extent practicable.  Any further reduction would limit usage of the property and, therefore deem the project impracticable.
