What's your pleasure?
Coves and areas of quiet water for fishing? Sand hills and trails perfect for riding an ATV? Maybe the sight of ducks landing on a pond at sunset?
Whichever option piques your interest, you are sure to find what you're looking for at the various projects the New Orleans District manages in Louisiana.
As public lands and water open for recreation, the Corps projects within the New Orleans District are provided for the use and enjoyment of our visitors. To ensure your enjoyment, please observe safety precautions when using the land and water for boating, hunting and other activities. Visitors should be careful to consider underwater hazards such as submerged logs, stumps and rocks, which may be present but not usually visible.
Please don't forget, this is Louisiana. Watch out for alligators and snakes.
To ensure your safety, observe posted rules and regulations. Remember that common sense goes a long way in keeping you and your family safe.
