    The New Orleans District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers released the draft environmental assessment for the “Mississippi River and Tributaries, Morganza to the Gulf of Mexico, Louisiana Humble Canal Gate Site Preparation and Initial Levee Preload,” and is seeking public comment through Sept. 11, 2021.

  • Corps seeks public comments for St. Tammany feasibility study

    The Notice of Intent for the St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana Feasibility Study was published on the Federal Register June 19, 2020 and the Corps of Engineers is seeking public comment for the study. The Corps will host virtual meetings to receive public comments; time and location to follow in subsequent media release and advertisements. Written comments will be accepted through August 3, 2020 when the comment period ends.

    Notices of Intent were published April 2 on the Federal Register for the five studies funded by the Bipartisan Budget Act of 2018 and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is seeking public comments for each of the studies.
