NEW ORLEANS – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District and its contractor, Cajun Constructors will close a section of Prytania Street to begin water main and utility installation. Work is part of the Southeast Louisiana Drainage Project (SELA).
Beginning Friday, July 25, 2014, Prytania Street will be closed from Jefferson Avenue to Joseph Street. The closure is scheduled to be complete in August 2015.
Residential access on Prytania Street between Jefferson Avenue and Joseph Street will be allowed. Octavia Street will be open at Prytania Street.
