New Orleans – Work related to the Southeast Louisiana Urban Flood Control Project (SELA).
Florida Avenue between Deers Street and Press Street outside of the NSRR Intermodal Yard will be closed to thru traffic on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, due to work related to the Southeast Louisiana Urban Flood Control Project (SELA).
This temporary closure is related to placement of temporary asphalt paving. The construction is taking place as part of the federally funded SELA project.
No parking of personal vehicles within the construction zone is permitted. On scheduled trash pick-up days, please place all garbage bins in front of your residence and it will be taken to the end of the street where it can be serviced.
