West Shore Lake Pontchartrain public meeting to be postponed As a measure of prudent planning for COVID-19

NEW ORLEANS – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District, will postpone the April 2nd public meeting in St. John the Baptist Parish with regard to the West Shore Lake Pontchartrain project.

In accordance with guidance from the Department of the Army, the meeting will be postponed as a measure of risk mitigation for COVID-19 or Coronavirus exposure. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Military Health System, and the U.S. Army Public Health Center will continue to closely monitor the situation and information surrounding the public meeting will be updated as it becomes available.
