10 September 2024 - Regulatory Program Information in Support of Hurricane Francine Response and Recovery Due to anticipated widespread damages and risks to public safety and well-being that could potentially occur from the anticipated landfall of Hurricane Francine on the Louisiana Gulf coast, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District (CEMVN) has implemented special emergency permitting procedures on September 10, 2024, pursuant to 33 CFR 325.2(e)(4), to expedite the processing of permit applications for storm-related response and recovery work.
