You are hereby informed that the contract for the Lake Pontchartrain and Vicinity (LPV), Hurricane and Storm Damage Risk Reduction System, OFC-08, 1yth Street Canal Stability Remediation (W912P8-14-D-0012, Task Order 0002), in Orleans and Jefferson Parishes, Louisiana, has been completed. This project was compl.eted by the United States pursuant to Public Law 109-234, Emergency Supplemental Appropriations Act for Defense, the Global War on Terror, and Hurricane Recovery 2006.
A final inspection of the project was conducted on April 1, 2015, and all contract work was performed in accordance with the approved plans and specifications and meets the design criteria. For operations and maintenance guidance, refer to the interim operation, maintenance, repair, replacement, and rehabilitation (OMRR&R) manual, Volume 1 and Volume 2, previously provided to you. Please note, Volume 3 of the OMRR&R manual will be provided in the near future which will provide the final OMRR&R information associated with above referenced contract. Please see enclosed the following items:

The punch list items identified during the pre-final inspection have been corrected and inspected by representatives of the Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority Board of Louisiana (CPRAB), formerly known as Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority (CPRA), and by our office. The Bermuda grass has been established and with proper maintenance should continue to improve in density and root structure.
In accordance with the Project Partnership Agreement between the Department of the Army and CPRA (now known as CPRAB) dated September 22, 2008, CPRAB shall undertake the OMRR&R of this completed project feature of the Lake Pontchartrain and Vicinity, Hurricane and Storm Damage Risk Reduction System in Orleans and Jefferson Parishes. In this connection, maintenance is construed as keeping all completed works in working condition to serve the purpose for which they were designed.
