How to send comments. Comments can be mailed to the address appearing in the Public Notice or emailed to the Project Manager identified on the Public Notice. Comments made in reference to a Public Notice should include your name, address, and phone number as well as the permit application number identified on the Public Notice. 

Individuals or parties may request an extension of time in which to comment on the proposed work by writing to the project manager or clicking on the project manager’s name on the public notice grid on the web page.  Any request must be specific and substantively supportive of the requested extension, and received by this office prior to the end of the initial comment period.  The Branch Chief will review the request and the requestor will be promptly notified of the decision to grant or deny the request.  If granted, the time extension will be continuous to the initial comment period and, inclusive of the initial comment period, will not exceed a total of 30 calendar days.

LOCATION OF WORK: The project would affect waters of the United States. The project/review area is located along Kings Farm Road, at Latitude North: 30.412341°N and Longitude West: -92.904124°W, near the community of Kinder, Jefferson Davis Parish, Louisiana.

EXISTING CONDITIONS: The project site is situated approximately 0.65 of a mile west-northwest from the intersection of U.S. Highway 165 and Kings Farm Road. The proposed project will impact Section 404 wetlands within the project area. The project contains two existing permanent easements. The permanent easement located between the proposed meter station and north tap site is 20-feet wide by 210-feet long. The permanent easement between the proposed meter station and the south tap site is 20-feet wide by 215-feet long. This area contains degraded wet pasture.

PROJECT PURPOSE:

Basic: Industrial development.

Overall: Industrial development for oil and gas activities.

PROPOSED WORK: Work consists of excavating, grading, and placing approximately 961 cubic yards of earthen fill material and 824 cubic yards of stone for the construction of a 200-foot wide by 200-foot long M&R Station, a 55-foot wide by 70-foot long North Tap Site, a 30-foot wide by 35-foot long South Tap Site, a 12-foot wide by 56-foot long access road with culvert. Approximately 1.03 acres of degraded herbaceous wetlands/agricultural land would be permanently impacted and approximately 0.99 of an acre of degraded herbaceous wetlands and 0.001 of an acre of non-wetland waters would be temporarily impacted via project implementation. The purpose of the project is to enable Trunkline to deliver up to 507 MMCF/D of natural gas from Trunkline's 26-inch Line 300-1 into FGT's 26-inch Mainline Loop (200 Line) and the 24-inch Mainline between Stations 06 and 07.
