Public Notices Overview

Viewing Notices. To view a Public Notice and its associated Drawings file (if any), click on the "Public Notice" or "Public Notice and Drawings" link and any additional links included in the attachments section. How to send comments. Contact the Regulatory Branch, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers,New Orleans District, 7400 Leake Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70118.  Comments to the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) must be in writing and mailed to the address appearing in the Public Notice. Comments made in reference to a Public Notice should include your name, address, and phone number.

Individuals or parties may request an extension of time in which to comment on the proposed work by writing to the project manager or clicking on the project manager’s name on the public notice grid on the web page.  Any request must be specific and substantively supportive of the requested extension, and received by this office prior to the end of the initial comment period.  The Section Chief will review the request and the requestor will be promptly notified of the decision to grant or deny the request.  If granted, the time extension will be continuous to the initial comment period and, inclusive of the initial comment period, will not exceed a total of 30 calendar days.

NAME OF APPLICANT:  EnLink Processing Services, LLC, c/o Geosyntec Consultants, Attn: Mr. Spencer Varnado, 5420 Corporate Boulevard, Suite 202, Baton Rouge, Louisiana  70808. 

LOCATION OF WORK: In Assumption Parish, North 30.015097, West -91.136514, located south of Louisiana Highway 70, near Belle Rose, Louisiana, as shown on the attached vicinity map.  

CHARACTER OF WORKClear, grade, fill and/or excavate and construct an access road and two drill pads, one 287 feet by 421 feet and the other 293 feet by 406 feet.  Construct a 30 foot wide access road and install pipe racks, supports and footings, all to support drilling a brine well.  Approximately 33,928 cubic yards of sand material, approximately 4,847 cubic yards of crushed stone/gravel material and approximately 80 cubic yards of concrete will be required for construction activities.  Approximately 5.98 acres of jurisdictional wetlands would be impacted by project implementation.   The applicant proposes to purchase compensatory mitigation acres at CEMVN approved mitigation banks in the area.
