NAME OF APPLICANT: SBDP, LLC, c/o Pangaea Conservation & Compliance, P.O. Box 40345 Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70835

LOCATION OF WORK: 38196 N. Robert Road, in Section 36, T9S-R2E, in Gonzales, Louisiana, in Ascension Parish, within the Lake Pontchartrain Basin in hydrologic unit (HUC 08070204), as shown on the attached drawings (Latitude 30.223065 N, Longitude -90.966178 W).

CHARACTER OF WORK: The project area was previously permitted for a 128-lot subdivision in October 2012.  The applicant is now proposing to construct a residential development with five waterfront lots, each facing its own pond.  Each pond will be approximately 5 acres and will be excavated with side slopes of 3:1 with maximum depths of up to 20 feet.  Approximately 471,724 cubic yards of material will be excavated for the ponds. Approximately 10,246 cubic yards of the excavated material will be used as fill for the home sites and the remaining 461,278 cubic yards is to be hauled off to a non-wetland site.  Construction will also include approximately 4,600 linear feet of asphalt road construction as well as three culverts for drainage.  All wetland impacts associated with this project were mitigated for when the original permit was issued.

The applicant has designed the project to avoid and minimize direct and secondary adverse impacts to the maximum extent practicable. Construction activities will occur outside of the 11.94 acres of preserved, restored and naturally regenerated wetlands on-site.
