Speakers Bureau

The New Orleans District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, is responsible for a multi-faceted and challenging water resources mission in central and southern Louisiana. Our continuing service to the citizens of Louisiana takes in navigation development, extensive flood control systems, hurricane protection projects, wetland protection programs, and various activities to restore the environment.

Working at the direction of Congress and in close partnerships with local sponsors, Corps personnel are proud of the contributions they make toward improving the quality of life in Louisiana. And, they welcome opportunities to inform the public about the district's various activities or simply talk about their particular field of expertise.

If this interests your group or organization, we will be happy to try to arrange a guest speaker for you. See the LIST OF TOPICS that our staff members can address, and contact us to request a Corps representative.

If you would like to submit a request for a speaker click here to fill out a Speakers Bureau Request Form.
