What’s your pleasure? Coves and areas of quiet water for fishing? Sand hills and trails to ride an ATV over? Or maybe the sight of ducks landing on a pond at sunset. You just may find what you’re looking for at the various projects located in Louisiana managed by the New Orleans District.

As public lands and water open for recreation, the Corps projects within the New Orleans District are provided for the use and enjoyment of you, our visitor. To ensure your enjoyment, please observe safety precautions when using the land and water for boating, hunting and other activities. Visitors should be alert to underwater hazards such as submerged logs, stumps and rocks which may be present but not usually visible. And don’t forget. This is Louisiana. There are alligators and snakes in our area.

To ensure your safety, observe posted rules and regulations. Remember that common sense goes a long way in keeping you and your family safe.
