The expected time for research, viewing by the customer, reproducing copies from originals for the customer and delivery of products to the customer is about two weeks. The steps for processing a photo search request entails:

1. Receipt of written request
2. Telephone follow-up of customer request by Files staff to clarify request and get commitment from customer to pay for research work (usually 15 to 30 minutes per project)(this happens 1 to 2 days from receipt of request, depending on current request load)
3. Files staff performs research, retrieval and invites customer for viewing only or viewing and selecting their choices of photos (this happens 1 to 3 days from Step 2.)
4. After viewing and selection is made by the customer the Files Staff arranges for copies to be made at our local reproduction vendor, if copies are desired (this happens immediately after selection is made)
5. Copies are made by our reproduction vendor and the customer is invited for pick-up or the customer must pay for 4th class mailing (copies are made within 3 to 5 days)
