Current Hydrologic Stage Data
Water resources information available includes near real-time and historical stage data, collected by 50-plus automated gage data-collection-platforms (DCP's) located throughout the New Orleans District. These gages record hourly readings, and the data is collected via satelite up-link approximately every four hours. In addition, there are 140-plus gages that record daily (0800) stage data. This data is collected manually, on approximately a monthly basis. The data is provided as both graphics and text files, either of which may be displayed by your 'browser' or downloaded for further analysis.
