Calling NOD Employees--When making
calls to our hearing-impaired employees, please remember to use the
Louisiana Relay Service. Telephone numbers and instructions for using the
Relay Service are in both the Electronic Phone Directory and the Outlook
Address Book. If you receive a call from a hearing-impaired person,
a Communications Assistant (CA) from the Louisiana Relay Service will
indicate to you that you have a relay service call, and ask if you are
familiar with the process. If you are not, the CA will provide the
instructions and help you take the call. There may be a few seconds of
silence or some beeping while the call is initially being connected.
(Please do not hang up.)
