ALL projects are sorted by issuance date. The public notices and drawings are in PDF formatted files. You must have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your PC to view the files. If you don't have it, you may download it free from www.adobe.com.

Viewing Notices. To view a Public Notice and its associated Drawings file (if any), click on the "Public Notice" or "Public Notice and Drawings" link and any additional links included in the attachments section. How to send comments. Comments can be mailed to the address appearing in the Public Notice or emailed to the Project Manager identified on the Public Notice. Comments made in reference to a Public Notice should include your name, address, and phone number as well as the permit application number identified on the Public Notice. 

Individuals or parties may request an extension of time in which to comment on the proposed work by writing to the project manager or clicking on the project manager’s name on the public notice grid on the web page.  Any request must be specific and substantively supportive of the requested extension, and received by this office prior to the end of the initial comment period.  The Branch Chief will review the request and the requestor will be promptly notified of the decision to grant or deny the request.  If granted, the time extension will be continuous to the initial comment period and, inclusive of the initial comment period, will not exceed a total of 30 calendar days.

 LOCATION OF WORK:  The proposed site is located in Section 108, Township 16 South, Range 16 East, Sections 37, 38, 39 and 40, Township 16 South, Range 15 East, Sections 27 and 28, Township 17 South, Range 15 East, and Sections 32, 33, and 34, Township 17 South, Range 16 East.  The 1,123.4-acre site is located approximately 10.6 miles from Gibson, Louisiana. From LA 20 in Gibson, Louisiana head east for 5.0 miles, turn right onto Bull Run Road and travel 5.6 miles, the site is on the south side of Bull Run Road. The site is centered on the point 29° 38’ 08.45” N, -90° 52’ 17.75’’ W, located in Hydrologic Unit Code 08090302, as shown in the attached prospectus. 

 CHARACTER OF WORK:  Site restoration shall be accomplished through hydrological restoration and afforestation of the native vegetative community. This includes abandoning farming operations, gapping the interior perimeter levee, plugging field drains, removing or plugging culverts, backfilling ditches, site preparation, elimination of invasive species, and replanting of appropriate species in order to generate bottomland hardwood and cypress-tupelo swamp credits that could be used as compensation for unavoidable impacts to wetlands associated with Department of the Army (DA) permits authorized under Section 404 of the Clean Water Act and Section 10 of the Rivers and Harbors Act.
