Lane shift to occur on Louisiana Avenue for SELA work

NEW ORLEANS – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District, and its contractors will temporarily shift travel lanes on Louisiana Avenue for work related to the Southeast Louisiana Drainage Project (SELA).

Beginning Monday, February 23, 2105, the southbound travel lane of Louisiana Avenue between Clara Street and South Robertson Street will be shifted to the northbound lanes. Northbound travel lanes will be reduced to one lane in this reach.

The lane shift will be in place for approximately eight months.

Throughout construction, The Corps will continue to work closely with its partners at the City of New Orleans.
