In addition to existing traffic detours on Napoleon Avenue, the following will be put into effect:

The inside travel lane heading north (lake-bound) will be closed from Laurel through Constance for approximately 2 weeks beginning April 2 (note: one travel lane is currently closed lake-bound between Perrier and Claiborne).

Napoleon Avenue neutral ground crossover will be closed at Chestnut for approximately 1 month.

Napoleon Avenue neutral ground crossover at Carondelet and east-bound Carondelet intersection will be closed for approximately 1 month.

Additionally, the Napoleon Avenue neutral crossover will be closed at Magnolia St. for approximately 1 month for sheet pile installation in preparation for the box culvert construction.

The Corps will continue to work closely with its partners at the Louisiana Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority and the Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans on the SELA program. All scheduled SELA work in Orleans Parish should be finished in 2018.
