NEW ORLEANS – The Calcasieu River Saltwater Barrier public boat launch will reopen to the public on Friday,
April 29, 2022.
The boat launch and park will be open from 30 minutes before official sunrise to 30 minutes after official sunset
daily. Gates have been installed across the parking to prevent people from using the launch after hours.
